Scenes and Sounds From the 9-5-11Wilmington Labor Day Parade

On the last day of the Dream Summer, 102 DREAMers jumped on two buses and made their way down to Wilmington (California) to march in solidarity with Union workers and laborers all from throughout Southern California.

Having been there, I must say that it was a beautiful thing to have marched with a hundred other undocumented voices, chanting loudly and proudly, letting others know who we are, why we’re there, and what we want. We came out in solidarity with members of our communities, undocumented and unafraid.
