Borders No More (Poetry)

with the words of my heart I will break down your walls
the steel that separates us from the ones who impose no threat or
harm

now you see, while you waste your precious time and energy creating
the fear and sadness that haunts the air
a politically driven hate inspired act
I, with my compassionate soul and love towards others, will wash away
the blood and sweat
that is, on a daily basis, being absorbed by the soil that was once
free of the racist ideologies and policies you had imposed upon it.

the lands of mother earth will once again regain its natural beauty
where you and I can walk hand-in-hand
take in its natural energy
close our eyes to feels it beautiful winds
and as we look up into the blue skies,
no longer be the witnesses to our feathered friends shedding tears
over the dead dreams of mothers, fathers and children

the day will come when the mass migrations of people, in search of a
better life, is no longer necessary

because

a world without borders
is a world without insecurities
and a world without insecurities
is a world of unity
